Bakeries and food markets, designer boutiques and vintage shops, galleries, and a food scene that runs from old bistros to cooking from everywhere else.

Worth the walk

Place des Vosges, the Seine, the Musée Picasso and the Musée Carnavalet, all reached through the narrow streets the quarter is known for.

Getting around

Saint-Paul on line 1 is the nearest métro. Hôtel de Ville on line 1 and Rambuteau on line 11 are both close. Buses 29, 67 and 75 stop a few minutes away.

Arriving in Paris

Roughly an hour from Charles de Gaulle and forty minutes from Orly by taxi, or take line 1 directly from Gare de Lyon.
